The first step in creating a Neurocognitive Processing program involves comprehensive testing to generate an Individualized Cognitive Profile (ICP). Standardized developmental tests used to develop the ICP. These tests will vary among clients as age and presenting conditions will influence the assessment tools required. Every individual will complete a group of tests prior to beginning the NeuroCognitive Processing program. Frequently used tests include, but are not limited to, the following: PPVT-4 (receptive language), the K-Bit (intelligence test), the SCAN-C or A (auditory processing, the Motor-Free Visual Perception test, the Receptive One-Word Picture Vocabulary Test, and the Woodcock Test of Auditory Discrimination.
In addition, we will typically ask new clients to fill out an intake survey and a neutraceutical supplement survey. These allow us to generate a fairly detailed understanding of the entire person, not just the major issue that brought them into our world.
